Bajaj Unveils Pulsar, 400 SS and 400 CS; Pictures Inside

















INTRODUCTION : 
Bajaj has unveiled two bikes in the Pulsar range at the 2014 Indian
Auto Expo in Delhi, these are 400 SS and 400 CS. The two Pulsar 400 SS 
and the Pulsar 400 CS are all new bikes. With the unveiling of these bikes
Bajaj has showcased it’s intent at making the Pulsar brand even more 
focused and extend the range of affordable sport-biking. The new 400cc
bikes extend the range of the Pulsar brand which till now was limited 
to 200cc 


Bajaj Pulsar 400 NS
The Bajaj Pulsar 400 SS (or Super Sports) is the final variant of the
bike which was rumored to have been named the Pulsar 375. It is a fully
faired version of the Pulsar CS and borrows the engine from the KTM 390 Duke.

here are some pointers about the Pulsar 400 SS

1. It features twin projector lamps at front along with twin pilot lamps
2. The front facing is very much stylised, some people may like it but some may say that is bit over done.
3. The design while viewed from the side , with the large tanks, stepped seats and sharp tail section.
4. The Pulsar 400 SS gets a stubby exhaust, unlike the underbelly exhaust on the 200 NS
5. The tail-lamps are a design which depends on one's choice weather you may like it dont like it cause  they are not placed on the body of the bike, rather they are placed on the extension which houses the number-plate.
6. Its featured Bajaj’s patented triple-spark technology. The engine seems to have been borrowed from the KTM 390 Duke.The bike has the 6 speed transmission with ABS
7. One moew feature is clip-on handlebars, a digital-analogue gauge, single-discs at the front and rear, telescopic forks at the front, single-swing-arm mounted shock at the rear, 150 mm section tyres at the rear and 110 mm section Tyres at the front.



















Bajaj Pulsar 400 CS














The Bajaj Pulsar 400 CS powered by the 375cc engine which is there in KTM 390 Duke but it features with Bajaj’s patented triple-spark technology it also features with inverted front forks, mono-shock suspension, ABS, radially-mounted brake calipers, among other features. 400 CS showcased at the Expo was pretty well put together and fit-and-finish.here are some points about the Pulsar 400 CS














1. The headlamp has multiple elements, it includes HID and LEDs
2. featuring with inverted front forks
3. ABS is also available, it featured with single-disc units at the front and rear
4. 400 CS does not feature clip-on handlebars
5. Exhaust is just same as the one which is there on 400 SS, featuring a dual-tone cover
